Attorney Christopher DiOrio has been prowling the state and federal courtrooms of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York City, defending clients’ interests and individual rights since he began his practice trying cases to over fifty juries over his 27 year career. After six years as a senior attorney with the primary public defender in New York City, Attorney DiOrio brought his practice to Massachusetts, where he has continued to maintain a sterling reputation as a trial attorney and litigator. He is a tireless educator and advocate, teaching the Constitution, criminal law, and trial advocacy to students from 4th grade to college and beyond. Attorney DiOrio has become noted for his expertise in the cybersecurity arena and the 1st Amendment, his writings being published nationally in over 75 publications. An active member attorney of the ACLU, the HRC, and as a fellow with Freedom For All Massachusetts, Attorney DiOrio has a strong commitment to civil rights, through his "Constitution For All" initiative, having personally provided almost 10,000 copies of the US Constitution to students, teachers, and anyone who asks at no charge. Chris is a 1988 graduate of Southern Methodist University, cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa and Boston College Law School in 1991. He also attended Oxford University in 1986. His community involvement includes serving as a board member of WHCA TV, and on the Finance Committee for the Town of Whitman. Previously, Chris served on the Finance Committee, the Elder Services Board, and was one of the founding members of the Human Rights Commission, all in North Attleboro, MA. Chris is passionate about his Civil Rights work, and will go to bat for you with a drive that is hard to match.
